Norwegian Cruise Lines has demonstrated its recognition of home based and mobile travel agents in the post COVID-19 world of cruising, by launching its Home-Based Hub, aimed at supporting home based and mobile agents.

Norwegian Cruise Lines says the Home-Based Hub provides travel agents who operate from home with a dedicated contact with the Norwegian team in Norwegian Cruise Lines’ local office, with The Home-Based Hub being overseen by Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Business Development Executive Australia and New Zealand, Jacinta Baker.

With Ms Baker managing support services including product and system training, promotions support, personalised agent incentives, collateral, events and marketing opportunities, Damian Borg, Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Director of Sales Australia and New Zealand saying, “We have developed what we believe is a best practice engagement program for all home-based agents, be them independent or part of a larger consortia group,” adding, “Consistent and clear communication will be the backbone of this initiative, as we strive to amplify the provision of information more seamlessly to home-based partners”.

He also said, “The Home-Based Hub provides an extra layer of support in addition to our team of territory Business Development Mangers who will remain the local point of contact in market for trade partners.”
