A newly refurbished cottage located between the bush and the beach in one of the most pristine locations on the sought-after NSW South Coast has now opened for guests, just in time for the summer holiday season.

Located in Yellow Rock, Murramarang National Park, Judges House is nestled in bushland with access to a secluded beach and boasts stunning views across Batemans Bay.

The three-bedroom weatherboard cottage features huge windows which bring the outside in, an open plan living area and large wraparound deck to relax on and enjoy the natural surrounds.

The new accommodation offers access to a beach just steps away for swimming, kayaking or canoeing and fishing. Guests can explore walking tracks in the area which wind through coastal bushland and the rocky coves of Murramarang National Park, with vantage points for spotting birds, passing dolphins and whales.

For holidaymakers wanting a stay immersed in nature but with modern conveniences within reach, the house is only a 30-minute drive from the restaurants, cafes and shops of vibrant Batemans Bay.

As its name suggests, Judges House was formerly owned by a Supreme Court judge and enjoyed as a family getaway before it was generously handed over to NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Judges House is perfect for families, couples or small groups wanting to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The

existing Yellow Rock Beach House nearby is also available, with the option of booking both houses together for a larger group.

Rates: From $350 – $450 per night (7-night minimum stay).
