Melco Resorts & Entertainment successfully hosted an onsite outreach vaccination session in coordination with Macau Health Bureau between June 18-20 at Studio City Event Center, at which close to 2,400 colleagues, family and friends successfully took the vaccine. Aiming to support government efforts towards community-wide vaccination to achieve herd immunity, the three-day vaccination session forms part of Melco’s Get the Jab immunity incentive program.
Ms. Akiko Takahashi, Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff to Melco Chairman and CEO, said, “With colleague immunity now established as a key Company objective to ensure a safe environment for colleagues, guests and the community, we are thrilled to see colleagues’ positive response to the Get the Jab campaign. We will continue to host more health seminars to promote the benefits of vaccination and to answer colleagues’ queries so that informed choices best suited to each individual’s needs can be made, whilst supporting to the government’s efforts towards achieving herd immunity.”
Outreach vaccination session attendee, Tippy Wong said, “After joining one of the health seminars hosted earlier by the company, I felt well informed about the vaccine’s benefits and decided to sign up to the outreach vaccination session. It feels great to finally receive the first dose of the vaccine at my place of work – it’s so convenient. I’m glad I took this step forward to protect myself and my family. I hope more and more of us will, like myself, get vaccinated so that life can go back to normal as soon as possible.”
