A new Mercedes vehicle, one of only four in New Zealand, has just been added to the fleet of luxury transport and tour operator Albatross Travel Service, perfectly timed as the NZ Government announced the opening of a Trans-Tasman bubble aimed at the first quarter of 2021.

The new Mercedes Sprinter EVM 16-seater vehicle has been customised for the Queenstown-based company.

Knowing the high demands of their luxury clients, Albatross Travel Service owners, Roger and Ying had the vehicle customised for their client needs.

“Our aim was to give a ‘business-class’ style of experience.  So, we had leather seats which recline, tray tables, phone charger points and of course a glass roof all added”, says Roger.

The seating configuration is two seats on one side, one seat on the other side and four seats in the back row.

This new vehicle is a new addition to their existing fleet, which includes 4WD Mercedes Benz G 350D, Audi A8 sedan, and Mercedes Benz vehicles which variously accommodate 3 -16 passengers.

The fleet suit a range of clients’ needs, and are especially suitable for private groups of extended family and friends, offering confidence in travel during these Covid-19 times.

A new product manual with details on the company, fleet and commissionable rates is available on request.

Albatross Travel Service has been providing luxury tours and transfers around Queenstown, Milford Sound and the lower South Island since 2014.  The company provides bespoke luxury tours for leisure and business clients.
