La Réserve Genève Hotel & Spa set on the shores of Lake Geneva have installed their own private ice rink and Christmas market-style winter chalets on the property. The five hundred square metre ice rink is surrounded by fir trees which are all decorated and lit up for Christmas.

La Réserve Genève is truly a wonderland this winter where guests can glide across the ice (or book skating lessons!), then sip hot mulled wine or champagne in the festive winter chalets. Waitstaff are on hand to supply blankets to ward off the chill in the air, and serve holiday treats like crêpes, waffles, oysters, and caviar. This Winter Wonderland has spectacular views of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped mountains beyond.

The skating rink is exclusive to guests of La Reserve and diners in the restaurants. Entry is free for these guests and diners and the ice rink is open each day between 10 am and 8 pm. It will close on February 3, 2019.

La Reserve Geneva is set in ten acres of paradise and offers a spa, five restaurants, 85 rooms and 17 suites. It is a place of magic with its sparkling Christmas lights and huge fireplace. Paris based designer Jacques Garcia has created a space with royal red hues and gold surfaces, bold leopard and zebra print carpets and animal themed artworks. The guest rooms offer shades of orange, pale blue and taupe and divine velvet safari chairs.

It’s the perfect bolthole for Australians wanting the proximity of the city (three miles) the peace of ten acres and an amazing anti-ageing clinic Nescens. Come back home feeling and looking much much younger.

Prices start from CHF 427.50 per night for a superior king room.
