Time’s tag internationally proclaims Sydney and Gold Coast as the best extraordinary destinations to explore. And why not? The two cities offer anything and everything that a tourist seeks from their travel experiences.

Sydney & Gold Coast: two shining stars of Australian Tourism 

Sydney is a land of dreams for every tourist. The capital of New South Wales, Sydney is famous for so many things that a single list wouldn’t suffice. For years, it has been famous for its harbourfront Sydney Opera House, and now the city has expanded its dynamics to uncountable experiences to live.

Gold Coast is no less. The city is famous for its long sandy beaches and surfing spots, especially the world-famous stretch of sand at Surfers Paradise. It’s a global city that can fill the hearts of travellers with fun and adventure. The laid-back neighbourhoods are nowhere else to be seen, and of course, the unforgettable Gold Coast’s theme parks are a traveller’s favorite.

Vision for Sydney & Gold Coast 

If taken this opportunity seriously by the tourism industry and the governments, Sydney’s and Gold Coast’s tourism can revive the aftermath of the pandemic sooner than expected. Both cities have caught the limelight by capturing positions among the most incredible destination in the world in 2021 by TIME.

Although currently, Australian cities are not free of the new variants of COVID-19, especially Sydney, which has been among the worst affected places in the country in the second wave of the pandemic. However, with efficient planning and strategising, the Australian government can make the best out of it.

In the last couple of years, Sydney and Gold Coast offerings has helped the Government in securing the worldwide advisable tourist’s destinations. It is an excellent achievement for the Australian Tourism Industry and the state authorities. 

The limelight on Sydney and Gold Coast can benefit Australia’s tourism sector beyond countable numbers if efficient planning is done to become COVID-19 free again. Subsequently, a holistic tourism revival should be the country’s next goalpost.
