The holidays may be over, but wintertime fun is just beginning at Gaylord Hotels as its five U.S. resorts transform into idyllic winter getaways with the return of the brand’s annual Winterfest. Beginning this Friday, January 7 through February 27, 2022, families will discover seasonal fun at Gaylord Palms in Florida, Gaylord Opryland in Tennessee, Gaylord Texan in Texas, Gaylord Rockies in Colorado and Gaylord National in Maryland, as each resort displays winter themed activities, experiences, performances and more. Adding special packages and attractive rates, families and guests are able to craft their ideal seasonal daycation, staycation or getaway to create their own adventures. 
Snowy Activities 
At select resorts, beloved festive snow and ice experiences continue all season long. Guests of all ages can visit Glacier Point at Gaylord Rockies and Pinetop Village at Gaylord Opryland for a dose of snow tubing at each resort’s towering slopes. Daytime and nighttime ice skating under the stars is also on offer at outdoor rinks made with real ice. Families can also experience the thrill of driving ice bumper cars as they slide, spin and bump each other day and night.
Gaylord Rockies also offers its timeless family-friendly Snow Merry-Go-Round and dedicated Snow Park, where kids and adults can build a snowman, toss snowballs and tackle the fun snow play structures. Snowdrift Mini Golf invites guests to test their putting skills on ice. 
Themed Experiences 
All five resorts are challenging families to solve Jack Frost’s Frigid Finds Scavenger Hunt, where they will search high and low for clues and find answers to an array of polar puzzles. Guests of Gaylord Texan can also put their skills to the test in Jack Frost’s Eternal Winter Escape Room, where they must solve puzzles and escape before Jack Frost can create a never-ending winter. 
Gaylord Rockies and Gaylord Texan invite little ones to discover their inner artists at the Winter Art Studio, where they will create an array of seasonally inspired crafts for fun and memorable take home souvenirs. Both resorts also invite families to curl up with delicious snacks and spend the evening watching seasonal movies together. Additionally, Gaylord Rockies encourages friends and families to gather by the fire for Campfire & S’mores on the outdoor S’mores Lawn. 
Live Entertainment 
As part of Gaylord Hotels’ signature programming, guests of all ages will enjoy visually stunning shows, music and live performances. Most resorts will put on fountain and light shows that bring the wonders of winter to life with choreographed lights, music and water works. Gaylord Opryland will present its signature Fire & Ice Skating show, featuring champion skaters, big jumps, fast spins and awe-inspiring throws and lifts. Guests of Gaylord Opryland and Gaylord Texan can also enjoy live music across each resort’s signature bars and restaurants. 
Additional Resort-Wide Fun 
Alongside Winterfest programming, guests at all five resorts can book a relaxing and rejuvenating experience at the on-property Relâche Spa for a range of signature massages, facial and beauty treatments and more. Gaylord Opryland and Gaylord Palms invite guests to enjoy an escape from the chilly fun at their thrilling water parks, including the 84-degree SoundWaves and sunny Cypress Springs Water Park, respectively. Gaylord Rockies brings a dose of winter fun to its Arapahoe Springs Indoor Pool with its Frost’s Poolside Meltdown experience, offering themed games and fun in the water and heated, outdoor lazy river.
