FCM, one of the world’s largest travel management companies, has today welcomed the removal of quarantine in New South Wales for vaccinated travelers from 01 November 2021.

General Manager for FCM in Australia, Melissa Elf, said Sydney was the economy’s beating heart of Australia, and not having to quarantine on arrival would mean the world to businesses.
“Having to quarantine for any period when traveling from overseas for business has been a big obstacle for companies wanting to do deals with Australia and I commend NSW for taking the lead on opening us to the world—Australia is open for business once again,” Ms. Elf said.
“Intrastate travel has been incredibly strong for businesses throughout the pandemic, especially in Queensland and Western Australia, but this announcement will give the global business the confidence to fly into Sydney without the hindrance of any form of quarantine.

“Having a Travel Management Company by your side has never been more critical because it’s our job to provide you with the support you need and to undertake the heavy lifting so you can concentrate on getting your business going and growing again.”
