As the regional Victorian lockdown lifts, Falls Creek and Hotham look forward to welcoming guests back to the resorts from Tuesday 10 August.

With both resorts offering great conditions, regional guests will be able to enjoy the winter wonderland village of Falls Creek and the diverse and thrilling terrain of Hotham once again.

VP & General Manager of Hotham, Belinda Trembath, said “This season may not have been what we had planned, but we’re so excited to see our mountain communities reopen to regional guests. There’s still so much snow and fun to be had, and we can’t wait to welcome guests back to enjoy Hotham’s great terrain and our fresh mountain air.”

Falls Creek VP & General Manager, Richard Phillips, said “It’s been difficult to see the lifts at Falls Creek stop spinning twice this season. However, we can’t wait to get our season back on track, and to see our regional guests enjoy the seriously great snow and conditions we have”.

Falls Creek and Hotham are set to continue offering the perfect winter escape for the remainder of the season. From family friendly events at Falls Creek including the Fireworks Fiesta, to First Tracks at Hotham.

The safety of our guests, staff and community is, and always will be, our highest priority and we encourage everyone to follow the COVID SAFE rules when visiting the resorts. Guests are reminded of the below government requirements;

  • It is strongly recommended by the Victorian Government that anyone travelling to an Alpine resort has a negative COVID-19 test in the 72 hours prior to entering the resort.
  • As per the Government requirements, all premises within the resort must check the IDs of everyone they serve to ensure COVID safe operations.
  • Masks are mandatory at all times, including indoor and outdoor areas
