In the resort, contemporary sophistication meets modern classic design in an innovative interpretation of the luxury Moroccan coastal resort. Behind the design is HKS, the forward thinking American company, who worked in partnership with local Moroccan Architect Mr. Achrai to create an experiential resort.
Not only the suites and the villas but also the common areas together with the conference centre and grand ballroom feature both natural light and ocean views. Open air spaces have been created to allow separate active areas for adults, teens and kids within the whole resort.
The luxury spa nestles quietly in an enclave of beautifully landscaped small buildings to create a detached area to relax and unwind.
The design uses elements of both earth and water to create a relaxed and inviting environment. With a sense of place in mind, the design cue is taken from both crisp white render and local rough-hewn stone.
Cushions, artworks, artefacts and area rugs are all richly united with the Berber culture. Natural stone floors and plaster walls are warmly lit in a natural and earthy palette. A contrast of local references subtly amalgamated with modern styling.
The resort will host the very first Fairmont Spa, a concept based on the active wellbeing experience and founded on the belief that strengthening, nourishing and connecting the body, mind and spirit is a practice that not only resonates with our guests, but also helps us all connect deeply to the destinations we call home. The two programs at the heart of this brand passion are Fairmont Fit and Fairmont Spa.
– Fairmont Fit represents our holistic well-being offering: it encompasses numerous well-being practices, from mindful moments at turndown, to our fitness facilities and workout apparel for our guests. Intimately tied to the natural surroundings of each destination.
– At Fairmont Spa locations around the world, we invite guests to connect to the native surroundings of the destination, with treatments and ingredients that reflect each unique setting

Created to attract the young generation, the teen club introduces a tailored offer designed to attract, engage, and educate our youngsters. Facilities include basketball and soccer courts but also a theatre-like room to stimulate their senses.
Designed exclusively for our younger guests, the kids’ club for children under 10 years old has been created to ignite imaginations with a variety of facilities and fun activities where they can play, create memories, and learn all about the region and its culture.
Morimoto restaurant
As the first international culinary venue of Morimoto brand, the restaurant will offer a daring fusion of Japanese and American cuisines. The restaurant showcases the Chef’s unique take on Pan-Asian cuisine fused with flavours and techniques inspired by his world travels and draws from his Western culture more current inspirations, creating elegant dishes, simple and yet of undeniable genius.
The Commons
An all-day dining space, that sets a vibrant tone with a variety of seating options ideal for interacting with family, friends or colleagues.
Homemade is at the heart of the restaurant’s concept and diners will be able to choose between a large selection of traditional breads, wood-fired pizzas and other creations concocted by chef Georgiy Danilov.
The Beef and Reef
The restaurant offers an exceptional selection of seafood and meat cuts dishes offering guests quintessence of the Mediterranean cuisine. The menu, also imagined by Chef Georgiy Danilov, focuses on fresh local products with a delicate international touch. Dishes are based largely upon fresh produce locally sourced, such as grains, fruits, vegetables, olives, and olive oil. The flavours are rich and the food is beneficial to guests’ health. They can be accompanied by a wide choice of wines or with cocktails at the pool bar.
Fairmont Taghazout Bay will integrate Accor’s Planet 21 strategy in their day-to-day operation and management, and initiates include:
• Using local plants, reduced water consumption
• Plan for preventing leaks and the water quality maintenance
• Treatment and reuse of rainwater by creating a second hydraulic system for non- critical uses and provide treated water to communities
• Mitigation of risks of pollution of the natural environment by using eco-friendly cleaning products and releases to a processing water treatment station

Set on the beach, the resort will be the perfect base to enjoy surfing experiences, golfing, trekking in the Paradise valley, sand boarding in the Sahara desert, foraging and cooking experiences and also Argan making experiences and wine tasting experiences in the region.
