Emirates will once again be courtside at Melbourne Park as the Official Airline of the Australian Open which commences on Monday 8 February.

Now into its sixth year, Emirates’ Grand Slam partnership with the Australian Open showcases the airline’s commitment to the Australian market and passion for supporting incredible sporting events on an international scale.

Although the tournament will be different this year in terms of size and international attendance, the anticipation remains as Victorians, Australians, and global supporters get ready to watch one of the world’s biggest sporting events in the calendar.

Through its partnership with the Australian Open, Emirates will have the opportunity to help connect people through sport, on an international scale, and celebrate moments of joy, which are important following such an unprecedented 2020.

With COVIDSafe protocols in place and international travel currently on hold, Emirates’ activities at the event will look a little different this year, however Emirates will still be bringing tennis fans the very best #EmiratesFlyBetterMoments across the tournament.

Emirates will be hosting guests and giving fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with tennis legends. There will also be a variety of ways for those enjoying the tennis from home to engage across social channels, with exclusive Australian Open content served daily.

Emirates will continue as the Official Airline Partner of the Australian Open, the Grand Slam of Asia Pacific and Emirates Australian Open Series until 2025.

Emirates is a global supporter of tennis, sponsoring three of the four grand slams and 60 ATP tournaments. Reinforcing its commitment to the tennis industry in Australia, Emirates was also the Premier Partner and Official Airline of this year’s ATP Cup, which saw 12 countries complete at Melbourne Park in the five-day tournament, from 2-6 February.
