Dynamic international fast-casual restaurant brand Aussie Grill by Outback™ opens a dramatic Hong Kong flagship at Entertainment Building in the heart of Central tomorrow (Saturday, 30 January 2021) –  promising a ‘taste adventure’ of premium, flavoursome, speedy and affordable ‘Down Under’ fare.

Aussie Grill by Outback™ sets a new quality benchmark for convenient “fast” food with a tantalising menu of top-quality specialties all made freshly to order, from signature burgers, steaks and snacks to salads and desserts.

Inspired by the bold flavours of its fast-growing global parent brand Outback Steakhouse®, Aussie Grill by Outback™ made its successful Hong Kong debut in 2019 at Metroplaza, Kwai Fong.  Now it bursts into the mainstream of Hong Kong’s CBD on the crossroads of Queen’s Road Central, Wyndham Street and D’Aguilar Street – with an expansive 4,600 sq. ft. grill occupying the entire 1st floor Atrium of Entertainment Building.

Aussie Grill by Outback™ invites “an opportunity to discover the world on a bold exploration of flavour, daring to provide new tastes and experiences, deliciously intriguing and always a little wild”.

“Great value for money” is another hallmark – for craveable, boldly spiced, hand-crafted Aussie fare and house-made sauces, with portions beyond expectations, easy ordering, fast service and a genuinely friendly, fun vibe.

Crowd-pleasing favourites and beverages are all made to order ‘a la minute’ from fresh highest quality ingredients.  On a ‘Born to be Bold’ mission, flavour boundaries are also pushed to the limit with a uniquely distinct and deliciously different menu masterminded by veteran chef Efrem Cutler.

Mountainous, great-value-for-money burgers are substantial, succulent and original, packing hearty 5-6oz patties of 100% USDA Choice Grade Beef – a high-quality grade from younger cattle reared for less fatty marbling than prime – with market-fresh lettuce and tomato in soft, light brioche buns rich in butter and egg flavour, with just a hint of sweetness.

Among signature specialties Bacon Bomb Burger (HK$98) is topped with Mexican jalapeño pepper, bacon onion jam, crispy bacon, Cheddar cheese, housemade pickles and aioli sauce; and Braised Pork Sandwich (HK$98) is an explosion of hand-pulled, shredded roast pork in toasted ciabatta, topped with aged Cheddar, tomatoes, peppercorn sauce, honey balsamic vinaigrette and healthy arugula. Other crown-pleasers include Crispy Sriracha Chicken Burger (HK$88), Crispy Shrimp Sandwich (HK$108), and Impossible Melt Sandwich (HK$108).

Meals also served with a side dish choice of the brand’s trademark handcrafted kettle chipsfriesroasted veggies or salad include US Wagyu Sirloin (HK$128), with 6oz of sliced steak dressed with peppercorn sauce and arugula garnish, tangy Aussie Ribs (HK$98) and Grilled Salmon (HK$108).

Impossible™ Loaded Kettle Chips (HK$52) can also be ordered as snacks, along with Kettle Chips (HK$32), Aussie Petals (onion rings) (HK$42), a twist on Outback Steakhouse’s® famous signature Bloomin’ Onion®, and Crispy Cajun Shrimp (HK$56), with a pungent spicy kick.

Novel desserts include irresistibly alluring Mini Chocolate Thunder from Down Under (HK$48), a house-made brownie wickedly topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate crunch and chocolate sauce, and intensely flavoured Oreo® & Toasted Pecan Sundae (HK$46) with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Aussie Grill by Outback™’s bold orange and black Entertainment Building escalator entrance is as dramatic as the youthful concept – reminiscent of a cinema, complete with two 110” mega-TV screenings showcasing menu specialties. Relaxed Aussie-style extends to an open kitchen to watch chefs busy at work. Laid-back interior design of wooden tables and bright orange modern-industrial décor “dares to be different with an inviting, contemporary vibe”, complete with farmyard animal graffiti.

A colourful tricycle roadshow will promote the opening of Aussie Grill by Outback™ at various locations in Central for four days following the launch, with a lucky draw for passers-by to win dining coupons.
