SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium’s live streams are back by popular demand from 5pm on Friday 4 June! People can once again watch Victoria’s only colony of sub-Antarctic penguins waddle around the icy Penguin Playground from the comfort of their own home.

The live stream program kicks off on Facebook tomorrow with a window into the world of the cheeky Gentoo and elegant King penguins. This will be followed by a snapshot of different sea creatures – including the mesmerising jellyfish – each weekday at 5pm until Friday 11 June. All videos will be available for people to watch at any time after they go live.

The cute creature content doesn’t end there! Melbournians can also visit SEA LIFE Melbourne’s Marine Mindfulness hub, which features guided meditation, slow TV and ‘Compliment Corner’ for a reminder of just how fin-tastic they are.

There’s also the fun-filled Virtual Aquarium for kids, which features heaps of free ocean-inspired resources including educational worksheets, craft activities and downloadable colouring-in.

The free content aims to inspire people to enjoy and appreciate the ocean and its inhabitants while SEA LIFE Melbourne is closed. SEA LIFE Melbourne will reopen its doors to the public in line with the easing of Victorian Government restrictions. Check the website and Facebook page for updates. In the meantime, a dedicated team will work onsite to continue to care for the sea creatures at the Aquarium.
