With the definition of Aurora being a luminous phenomenon, it is appropriate that arguably the best known and even more arguably the longest standing cruise sales guru In Australia and highly luminous phenomenon, Steve Mclaughlin has managed to get back to his alma mater of cruising, by being appointed Director of Sales APAC for Aurora Expeditions

Steve will be working once again with also recently appointed, Aurora CEO Monique Ponfoort, with both knowing each other well as Steve worked as Director of Sales Australasia for Ponant, from 2014 until 2017, when Monique Ponfoort was Vice President & General Manager Asia Pacific, with subsequently Steve joining Oceania Cruises as Vice President Sales until a reshuffle in August 2019.

Steve is taking over the Aurora role from Dianna Schinella, who is moving to a role outside travel.

We wish Steve the very best in his exciting new role.
