As fashion fans head to the theater for the highly anticipated movie about the dramatic rise of luxury brand Gucci, Casetta guests are treated to an off-screen experience about the fashion empire. Starting today, Casetta has launched an Afternoon in the Gucci Garden experience for guests who book three nights or more at the 270-year-old luxury farmhouse nestled in the sprawling hills of Tuscany, just a half hour away from Florence.
The Afternoon in the Gucci Garden includes a day at the Gucci Museum, a private tour guide, and private car transfers roundtrip to and from Florence. Reservations for a gourmet lunch with wine at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura can also be arranged.
Guests have the opportunity to visit the three storied Gucci Museum at their leisure and explore the past fascinating six years of fashion under the current creative director Alessandro Michele. The museum features immersive and digital exhibits about the inspiration and modern evolution of the renowned brand. There is an onsite bookstore and shop for those who wish to pick up some new accessories or coffee table books.
After a trip to the museum, guests can satisfy their appetite with an optional visit to Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura for a multi-course lunch which showcases a modern interpretation of Italian cuisine. Guests can select a la carte or a tasting menu with wine. Costs for two guests start at approximately USD$1321 and includes one double room with ensuite bathroom for three nights, private car to and from Florence, Gucci Museum tickets, and a private tour guide. Lunch at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura is extra and based on menu and wine selections. The museum is located in Piazza Signoria in Florence just a half hour from Casetta. The movie opens on November 24th.
