Wyndham Vacation Club’s President and Managing Director, International Operations, Barry Robinson, has been named Best Industry Leader at the Perspective Awards held at the annual GNEX conference in Las Vegas, Nevada last week.

Considered one of the highest honours in the hospitality industry, the Perspective Magazine Awards recognizes global companies and individuals for their achievements within the vacation ownership industry over the past year.

Barry Robinson was praised for his outstanding leadership in successfully expanding the Club Wyndham brand internationally, including into the significant markets of Indonesia, Japan and Europe last year. He was also recognised for his signature customer-centric approach.

“I am both honoured and humbled to receive this award. It has been an exciting year spent introducing our incredible Club Wyndham brand to new markets and 2020 is shaping up to be even bigger. I appreciate the industry recognition made possible by the GNEX conference and the Perspective Magazine awards,” Barry Robinson said.

Barry Robinson joined Wyndham in 2004. This is the second time he has been honoured with Best Industry Leader at the Perspective Awards after first being awarded the mantle in 2013. Barry’s Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific team picked up three more awards at the 2020 Perspective Awards including Best Legal Team, Benjamin Coombes for Best Sales Professional and Best Exterior Design bestowed upon Club Wyndham Sydney.
