The Australian Cruise Association has announced that as a result of the extension of the lockdown in NSW, it has been decided to move their Annual Conference to 10-12 November 2021, with the event still to be held in Townsville though.

Australian Cruise Association CEO, Jill Abel said, “We are committed to holding our Conference so that we can keep the conversations and energy going around planning for the cruise re-start,” adding, “We felt these new dates gave us more certainty around being able to hold the event this year and also provide enough time for our speakers and attendees to change their travel plans.”

Jill added that an exciting line-up of keynote speakers has been announced including Gavin Smith, Royal Caribbean International; Sture Myrmell , Carnival Australia; Stuart Allison, Princess Cruises; Adele Labine-Romain, Deloitte Access Economics; and Dr Ian Norton Respond Global and to check out John Alwyn-Jones’ COVID-19 and travel and cruising interview with Ian, CLICK HERE, who back in May said cruising within the Australian bubble code start immediately.

The speakers will be joined by other industry experts who will round out the two-day program to be held at the Ville Resort-Casino, Townsville, with delegates who have registered and booked their accommodation will be automatically moved to the new dates.

In the meantime, registration remains open at  www.australiancruiseassociation.com/conferences, with the heavily discounted early bird rate starting at $400 per attendee has been extended to 30 September 2021, but to secure your place, it is recommended you book now.
