New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel presents a delicious range of dining options in celebration of Mother’s Day on 10 May 2020 — mothers are pampered in style with specially curated menus in the hotel’s restaurants to enjoy with the whole family.

Café East
Café East’s Mother’s Day dinner buffet is filled with seafood specialties, sweets and treats. Guests can start with Seafood on Ice including Boston Lobster, Snow Crab Legs, Edible Crabs, and Mussels, followed by sizzling hot dishes like Double-boiled Fresh Ginseng with Abalone and Chicken Soup, Baked Abalone with Sea Whelk, Steamed Jumbo Scallop with Glass Noodle and Twin Garlic, Steamed Eel with Garlic and Black Bean Sauce, Tepannyaki King Prawn and much more. Her day will be brightened with sweet treats such as Doubled-boiled Bird’s Nest with Crystal Sugar, Fresh Fruit Napoleon, Castella Cake, freshly baked Soufflé and Ban Chang Kueh. The Mother’s Day Buffet is available on 9 and 10 May 2020, with the lunch buffet priced at HKD438 for adults and HKD288 for children (3 to 11 years old) and the dinner buffet is HKD668 for adults and HKD438 for children.

Tao Li
Overlooking the spectacular Victoria Harbour, Tao Li offers a range of Mother’s Day-themed dim sum on 10 May 2020. Specialties include Fish Maw Dumpling with Whole Abalone and Jinhua Ham in Supreme Soup; Steamed Shrimp Dumplings with Asparagus, Crab Coral and Gold Leaf; Steamed Minced Pork Dumplings with Crab Coral and Bird’s Nest; Baked Milk Custard Buns with Bird’s Nest and Almond Juice; Deep-fried Spring Rolls with Shrimps, Crab Coral and Egg White, and many more.

Specially designed dinner menus featuring authentic Cantonese delicacies are also on offer. Mother’s Day dinner sets for six and 12 guests are priced at HKD4,080 and HKD9,880 respectively.

Sagano
Sagano’s Japanese Head Chef Noka Masahiko nicely crafts a seven-course Mother’s Day Kaiseki dinner, priced at HKD1,400 per person, for all mothers who fancy Japanese fare on 10 May 2020. The set offers authentic Japanese specialities ranging from Shredded Squid with Sea Urchin and Slightly Grilled Conch and Salmon Roe as appetisers, followed by Saurel and Fatty Tuna Sashimi, Japanese-style Stewed Abalone Tempura, Grilled Wagyu and Foie Gras with Sautéed Vegetables. Included too are Grilled Eel in Vinegar Sauce, Minced Fatty Tuna with Spring Onion Roll, Sea Eel and Sea Urchin Sushi, as well as seasonal fruit as dessert.

La Table French Brasserie
A classic French dinner in the comfort of La Table French Brasserie, set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour, is a fitting way to spoil mum on 10 May 2020. Priced at HKD988 per person, the exquisite six-course set dinner starts with Scallop Ceviche with Cucumber, Capers and Sea Urchin, followed by Lobster Bisque with Tarragon and Cream. Other courses include Chilean Seabass with Green Pea, Pancetta and Orange Mustard Sauce; Alaskan Crab Risotto with Zucchini, Tomato and Bouillabaisse; Australian Beef Ribeye with Sweet Corn, Confit Vegetables and Morel Jus, while Classic French Lemon Tart ensures a sweet ending to the evening.

All prices are subject to a 10 percent service charge. Members of Epicure, the hotel’s dining membership programme, can enjoy an exclusive 25% discount at Café East and La Table French Brasserie.
