At the heart of this integrated concept is the perfect union of Kopitiam’s hawker favourites (Food Court and Kiosks) and FairPrice Finest’s curated grocery offerings, a dual-concept unique to the FairPrice Group. Within the same space, customers can enjoy a diverse selection of local favourites and discover new tastes while fuelling their shopping quest for unique Singaporean merchandise and essential groceries.
The rejuvenated space channels the spirit of Singapore’s colonial past (spot the distinctive black-and-white tile motifs and the use of white, panelled columns), offering a nostalgic retreat where the elegance of old-world charm meets modern culinary delights.
Two tranquil water fountain ponds take centre stage, reminiscent of the peaceful courtyards where travellers once sipped afternoon tea and dined under the tropical sky. Surrounded by alfresco-like seating, the space invites guests to relax and savour iconic hawker fare, much like the social communal gatherings in days gone by. This bright and thoughtful design also underscores a commitment to creating an inviting environment where anyone – from international visitors to locals – can savour the best of Singaporean hospitality – a first in the Singapore food retail scene.
