We’re excited to share that two programs from Tropical North Queensland, the Guardian of the Reef and The Lifetime of Greatness Project have been named finalists in the prestigious Regenerative Travel Impact Awards 2025, under the Initiative of the Year category.
These awards celebrate organisations and initiatives that embody regeneration at its highest level, improving lives and landscapes while inspiring a more harmonious future for our planet.
Guardian of the Reef and The Lifetime of Greatness Project are the only Australian initiatives to be recognised in the Awards.Â
Why this matters:
- Guardian of the Reef champions marine conservation and community engagement to protect one of the world’s most precious ecosystems.
- The Lifetime of Greatness Project empowers local communities and travellers to create lasting positive impact through regenerative tourism experiences.
Winners will be announced on 17 December. Separately, Regenerative Travel will also be running a People’s Choice Award, which recognizes the finalist with the most public support.
