Australia’s largest travelling music celebration, Good Things Festival, returns to the Brisbane Showgrounds this Sunday, with more than 32,000 fans set to enjoy a huge day of heavy music.

This year’s event will showcase some of the biggest international and local names in rock, alternative, punk and metal across five stages, with four-time GRAMMY Award-winning US rock icons Tool leading the line-up in their first Australian tour in five years.

Also taking to the stage is fellow US rock heavyweight Weezer, who have sold more than 35 million records worldwide, along with Garbage fronted by 90s icon Shirley Manson, plus Machine Head, Lorna Shore, Refused, and more.

The alternative music festival is a 16+ event, with Brisbane the final stop on its Australian tour.

Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said they were thrilled to once again host Good Things Festival.

“Good Things has called the Brisbane Showgrounds home since its inception in 2018 and has grown into one of Australia’s premier heavy music festivals,” he said.

“We’re in the middle of a huge season of live music at the Showgrounds, with Wildlands Festival on New Year’s Day and Ocean Alley in late January to continue the momentum in 2026.”

Good Things Festival will run from midday to 10pm, with tickets still available online.
