After a positive reception last year, the on-site visa service returns this year to provide Indonesian travelers with an even smoother and more convenient experience in planning their trip to Saudi. Visitors can also apply for their Saudi tourist visa on the spot at the Tasheer booth and enjoy an expedited process, ensuring a seamless start to their journey.

Cultural highlights at the fair include a traditional Saudi coffee and dates ritual, live oud performances, and an interactive calligraphy experience where guests can create personalised keepsakes. The Ardah, a traditional Saudi performance of sword dancing, drumming, and poetry, will further showcase the unity and pride at the heart of Saudi tradition.  For families, there will also be a dedicated kids’ playground, ensuring visitors of all ages can enjoy the Visit Saudi Travel Fair.
Guests can also explore Saudi’s most captivating destinations – from the ancient wonders of AlUla, the cool mountainous beauty of AlBaha, to the UNREAL Calendar, fronted by global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, and featuring a dynamic lineup of sporting, cultural, and entertainment events.

Saudi’s calendar of global spectacles includes the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and the Italian Super Cup, alongside cultural celebrations such as Riyadh Season, which this year features an Indonesian Pavilion at Boulevard World, as well as Winter at Tantora and Jeddah Winter Wonderland, creating an exhilarating blend of sport, culture, and innovation that invites travelers to stay longer and experience more.

“Indonesia is a market we deeply value, united by spiritual and cultural affinity, and a growing curiosity to discover more of what Saudi has to offer,” said Eyad Jan, Southeast Asia Market Unit Senior Director, Saudi Tourism Authority. “Through the Visit Saudi Travel Fair, we invite Indonesian travellers to experience the warmth, diversity, and beauty of our country.”

As the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, representing 11.7% of the global Muslim population, Indonesia is one of Saudi’s most significant and fastest-growing tourism markets. Saudi now ranks second among Indonesia’s top five outbound destinations, with the STA reporting 1.6 million visits from Indonesia in 2024, a 6.7% increase from the previous year, following a 36% post-pandemic surge in 2022.

Travel between the two nations is now easier than ever, with Saudia Airlines, Lion Air, and Garuda Indonesia offering direct routes from nine Indonesian hubs: Jakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Medan, Palembang, Bali, Makassar, Padang, and Batam. With seamless and convenient eVisa and Visa on Arrival options, Indonesians are now closer than ever to discovering and truly feeling the soul of Arabia come alive.
