PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney has unveiled a new way for guests to connect with the heart of the city, launching its Local Cart, a roving celebration of Australian culture and community.
Rolling into the lobby every Friday to Sunday from 4-5pm, the Local Cart treats guests to nostalgic and beloved local favourites such as Anzac Biscuits, Tim Tams and more, curated by their very own PARKROYAL Local – an insider to all things Sydney. Guests also receive a keepsake postcard, hand-drawn by PARKROYAL staff, depicting Sydney’s most beloved icons as a meaningful memento to take home.

More than just a sweet surprise, the cart is part of a new initiative that invites guests to uncover the CBD’s true spirit through curated local experiences that celebrate Sydney’s culture, community and authentic Australian hospitality. It reflects PARKROYAL’s mission to promote sustainable tourism, cultural exchange and meaningful travel rooted in place.
Strengthening ties with the local CBD community, the hotel’s Little Explorer package highlights local attractions such as WILDLIFE Sydney Zoo, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and the Australian National Maritime Museum to create engaging, family stays. Each booking includes a kid-friendly Explorer Map curated by the hotel’s PARKROYAL Local, guiding families to Darling Harbour’s best attractions just steps away, along with in-room teepees, themed amenities and breakfast at BARKERS Restaurant.
