Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is proud to announce the grand reopening of its newly expanded and refreshed store at Melbourne’s Emporium on Thursday, November 27th. The reopening marks a major milestone for UNIQLO Australia, reaffirming its commitment to bringing LifeWear to more Australians through innovation, customer experience, and elevated store design.
Located in the heart of Melbourne’s fashion and retail precinct, the expanded Emporium flagship will unveil a brand new layout and immersive in-store elements, including the highly anticipated introduction of UTme!, UNIQLO’s globally renowned custom T-shirt printing service. Customers will now be able to create one-of-a-kind tees with their own designs, photos, or artwork—right in store.
To commemorate the reopening, a Japanese drumming performance and traditional ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on the morning of November 27th, bringing a touch of Japanese heritage to the celebrations. Customers visiting on the day will also enjoy exclusive opening offers, giveaways, and special in-store activations.

The new layout has been designed with the customer at its core—featuring enhanced navigation, updated fixtures, and modern displays to better showcase UNIQLO’s signature LifeWear: clothing designed to make everyone’s life better. This includes additional change room facilities, a dedicated sustainability corner, in-store click and collect lockers and a refreshed UNIQLO Kids shopping level.
