Following an overwhelming response to the launch of its IATA qualifications and practical programs, Connected Travel has announced the expansion of its 2025 training calendar to include a comprehensive suite of new workshops and program intakes, open to travel industry professionals across Australia.

“Since announcing the IATA qualifications are now available to the Australian market, we’ve received a significant volume of inquiries from businesses and individuals eager for more access to training,” said Marissa Papas, Founder of Connected Travel.

“We’ve responded by opening up additional programs, workshops, and flexible delivery options to support the industry’s evolving needs,” added Papas.

The 2025 training calendar now features the return of Connected Travel’s popular Connect Program for new hires, alongside several newly introduced workshops covering complex fare construction, GDS systems, Sabre, and Tramada.

A FREE IATA Qualification Orientation webinar is scheduled for 12 May explaining the benefits of its training and the range of qualifications available for enrolment, so for anyone curious to hear all about it, Connected Travel strongly recommends joining this 30 minute informative webinar.

Upcoming Specialised Workshops

·         New Hire Sabre Training – starting 12 May 2025 (5pm-7pm), delivered over four sessions (total 8 hours)

·         Tramada Training – Beginner Overview – 26 May 2025

·         Sabre Intermediate – 3 June 2025 (5pm-7pm), delivered over 2 sessions

·         Constructing Complex Fares (Thinking Outside the Box) – 19 June 2025

·         Comprehensive Overview: Reports and Accounts – 14 July 2025 (Tramada-focused, however applicable to all major CRMs)

Meanwhile Connected Travel’s flagship Connect Program, tailored for new hires, and the IATA Qualification intake are also now open for registration. These programs and IATA qualifications aim to equip the next generation of travel professionals with the skills, confidence, and customer-first mindset needed to excel in today’s evolving travel landscape.

Upcoming Program Intakes

·         IATA Qualification Intakes – 12 May, 7 July, 8 September 2025

·         Connect Program – starting 19 May to 11 July 2025

A second intake will also be available later in the year for the Connect Program from 25 August to 17 October 2025.

Sessions are designed to be engaging, practical, and conversational – not your average Zoom lecture. Each run for just two hours at a time to avoid overload and ensure minimal disruption to the working day, with options for after-hours delivery for private groups.
“We want to make this as accessible and useful as possible for the industry. Whether you’re bringing on new hires or just want your team reinvigorated with customer experience strategies, this is for you,” said Papas.

And for businesses wanting a more tailored touch? Private group intakes (min. 8 participants) can be arranged, including customisation for your business needs.
