MelcoTo support the SAR government’s goals of continuously expanding international markets, Melco Resorts & Entertainment is participating in the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO)’s “Journey to Experience Macao” mega roadshow in Tokyo’s popular Akihabara district between April 17-20. The event aims to ignite Japanese audiences’ intentions to visit Macao and tap into Japan as a visitor source market. In addition to destination presentations, a travel mart, visits and exchanges, the roadshow is part of a series of offline activities targeting various groups in Japan.Melco

The four-day event is organized by MGTO to offer an enticing glimpse into Macao’s radiant “tourism +” scene while highlighting the city’s destination glamor. The roadshow is appearing as a “Macao tourism pop-up zone” in Akihabara, bringing together elements of anime culture, special travel offers, limited-time co-branded commodities, distinctive souvenirs of “MAK MAK”, Macao’s official tourism mascot, and more. The event will provide a diverse and stimulating experience to strengthen Japanese visitors’ desires to visit Macao.

Through the roadshow, Melco strives to attract additional Japanese visitors to Macao to experience its one-of-a-kind world-class tourism highlights by providing exclusive travel packages and showcasing the world-class leisure and entertainment offerings of its flagship property City of Dreams and Studio City. Of particular focus is the highly anticipated return of the once-in-a-lifetime must-see aquatic show “House of Dancing Water” at City of Dreams, enabling visitors an exclusive sneak peek of the fascinating visual spectacle and vitality of this epic experience.
