The latest addition to the Brisbane Showgrounds’ calendar of music festivals is Australia’s premier bass music event TOUCH BASS, which will bring the energy to the inner city venue on Easter Saturday.

This Saturday 19 April, bass music lovers will pack the Brisbane Showgrounds for the powerhouse lineup of international and local artists currently touring Australia and New Zealand.

New to the Brisbane Showgrounds this year, the TOUCH BASS event will be headlined by Canada’s Excision who is bringing his world acclaimed ANZ-AUDIO-VISUAL production to Australia for the first time.

Joining Excision is two of the UK’s biggest drum and bass names Hedex & K Motionz; Austria’s Camo & Krooked/MEFJUS; French bass phenomenon HOL!; UK vocalist Emily Makris; South London’s MC P Money; and San Diego’s YDG.

Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said he was delighted to welcome the highly anticipated TOUCH BASS tour to the Showgrounds for the first time.

“The Brisbane Showgrounds has become the go-to venue for music festivals and we are excited to host the electrifying TOUCH BASS event this Easter Saturday,” Mr Coyle said.

“Our summer festival season saw over 170,000 people enjoy a range of performers at the Brisbane Showgrounds so we are thrilled to continue to host major music events outside of that peak time.”

Gates for the TOUCH BASS event open at 4pm this Saturday, with tickets still available online.
