Ranked #2 in the Bar World Top 100 (2024) and awarded Best International Bar Mentor (2024) by Tales of the Cocktail, he’s known for doing things differently. He’s the force behind the world’s first fully independent & anonymous bartending competition, pulling in 1,800 applicants in its first year, powered in part by his apparel brand Broken Bartender—funding bartender-led projects worldwide.

Danil Nevsky, a globe trotter currently living in Barcelona, is the Founder of Indie Bartender. Nominated #2 among the Top 100 Most Influential in the Hospitality Industry 2024 and addressing to himself as ‘The Independent Bartender’, has a diverse range of international experiences over 15 years in the hospitality industry spanning 14 countries. Most recently he launched the world’s first fully independent & anonymous global bartending competition which received 1800 applicants in its first year. The competition is in part funded by his bartender apparel brand Broken Bartender & the aim is to independently fund bartender created projects worldwide.
