The 22nd annual conference and, with over 400 delegates, the largest one yet, was officially opened by His Excellency Eng. Saeed Al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of Oman Air, who delivered a keynote speech. Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, joined a distinguished line-up of global aviation leaders, participating in a high-profile ‘Fireside Chat’ alongside several other senior airline executives from around the world.

Con Korfiatis said, “We’re delighted to host such a prestigious global event at our hub in Muscat. This year’s WTW Aviation Conference places Oman at the heart of some of the industry’s most critical discussions, underscoring the country’s growing influence in the global aviation sector and its strategic position as a regional hub for air travel. It also provided a valuable opportunity to showcase Oman’s aviation capabilities, infrastructure and investment potential to key global stakeholders.”
