Atlantis Dubai is pleased to announce that the 8th annual The Best Chef Awards Gala event will be hosted at the iconic Asateer Tent at Atlantis, The Palm on Wednesday 6th November. Culinary Month will kick off with Atlantis Restaurant Week spanning from Friday 1st to Saturday 16th November, allowing diners to savour specially curated set menus at a fraction of the price from 12 of Atlantis Dubai’s renowned restaurants. Visitors to Atlantis The Royal can enjoy highlights including a Michelin-starred dining experience, where Dinner by Heston Blumenthal will showcase a four-course menu featuring some of the restaurant’s most iconic dishes inspired by the tastes and flavours of Britain through various centuries such as its iconic Meat Fruit (c.1500). For one night only, the one Michelin star Ossiano, will collaborate with Bahrain’s Fusions by Tala to offer an exclusive dining experience. Ranked No. 9 on the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants list, Fusions by Tala is led by Bahrain-born, Swiss-trained chef Tala Bashmi. Known as the voice of modern Gulf or ‘Khaleeji’ cuisine, Chef Tala blends childhood memories and traditional dishes with a contemporary style at her restaurant. Together with Ossiano’s celebrated chef, Grégoire Berger, the duo will present a 10-course tasting menu where every chapter of the story will be interpreted through the culinary lens of each chef. Gault&Millau UAE’s Pastry Chef of the Year, Christophe Devoille, will collaborate with two time The Best Chef Pastry Award winner, Antonio Bachour for the ultimate afternoon tea experience at The Royal Tearoom. Guests will be able to enjoy a decadent selection of savoury delicacies and pastries, brought to life through the lens of both talented pastry chefs. The ultra-luxury afternoon tea experience will feature king crab thermidor, complemented with foie gras brûlée with black garlic and baerlic fig and wagyu beef tartare with horseradish. For two nights only, the one-Michelin-starred Ossiano will collaborate with two-Michelin-starred Ocean, helmed by an Austrian chef, Hans Neuner. Neuner has developed his culinary art, immersing himself in the essence of Portuguese cooking. His culinary vision is based around core fundamental elements: fresh fish, traditional Portuguese recipes, and a deep appreciation for quality ingredients, emphasising the simplicity that allows each ingredient to shine. Neuner’s biggest inspiration in his cuisine is Portugal, where he draws heavily from its culinary tradition and culture. The exquisite 10-course menu pays tribute to Ocean’s Portuguese heritage, infused with Asian influences, and paired with Ossiano’s modern take on progressive French cuisine. With dishes inspired by the tastes and flavours of Britain’s gastronomic past, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Château Margaux will present an exclusive five-course tasting menu, where each dish will be paired with exquisite Château Margaux wines.
