HEALThe Dragonfly H.E.A.L. (Harmony, Empathy, Acceptance, and Love) Summit 2024 in Bangkok concluded with resounding success after two days of powerful transformation, networking, and self-discovery. Hosted by Dragonfly, Asia’s premier platform for catalyzing social change, the summit welcomed over 2,000 attendees, including prominent thought leaders and wellness experts. With a renewed focus on leadership, inclusivity, and wellness, the event inspired its attendees and set the stage for its next chapter—a highly anticipated leadership retreat in Bali this coming November.

A Platform for Change and Growth

Dragonfly’s first H.E.A.L. Summit was a landmark event, bringing together entrepreneurs, wellness enthusiasts, and changemakers to engage in a dialogue centred on self-improvement, leadership, and empathy-driven success. The event saw globally recognized speakers such as Steven Bartlett, the British entrepreneur and bestselling author, and Roxie Nafousi, a renowned manifestation and personal development expert.

Bartlett, in his compelling talk titled “Leading with Purpose: Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Personal Growth”, urged attendees to embrace both vision and intuition in their personal and professional lives. “Don’t spend too much time in the trench, not enough time in the clouds. How you water your seed of intuition is so crucial,” he remarked, striking a chord with many in the audience seeking actionable steps to balance the operational grind with long-term vision.

Nafousi, author of the globally bestselling book “Manifest: 7 Steps to Living Your Best Life”, captivated the audience with her insights on unlocking human potential. Her message, “You manifest what you subconsciously believe you are worthy of receiving. Self-worth is at the core of the manifesting practice,” resonated deeply, leaving attendees empowered to take charge of their personal development.

Immersive Experiences to Rejuvenate and Connect

The summit wasn’t limited to just intellectual discussions. Attendees were treated to immersive wellness experiences at the Wellnest, a serene oasis designed for relaxation, meditation, and holistic healing. The space featured a 360-degree sensory room, dedicated workshops, and intimate 1:1 wellness sessions, allowing guests to connect with themselves on a deeper level.

At the Bazaar, a bustling marketplace, social enterprises and wellness brands showcased lifestyle products and innovations across Asia. Thailand’s Imaginum Labs led the Bazaar, highlighting the power of conscious consumerism and its potential to drive positive change.

These immersive experiences further elevated the summit’s atmosphere, fostering community among the attendees and encouraging authentic connections.

A Vision for the Future: Bali Leadership Retreat and Academy

As the H.E.A.L. Summit drew close, Dragonfly unveiled its bold next step—an exclusive leadership retreat and academy in Bali. Scheduled from November 30 to December 4, 2024, this five-day retreat promises to deepen participants’ grounding and leadership skills through the expertise of Bali’s leading wellness practitioners. In collaboration with Elevation Barn, the retreat will emphasize clarity of purpose mapping, helping attendees craft a leadership style centred on empathy, personal wellness, and positive impact.

The Bali retreat marks the launch of Dragonfly’s broader vision for leadership development, encompassing three core pillars:

  • Wellbeing: The retreat aims to rejuvenate participants holistically by focusing on the heart, body, mind, and soul.
  • Leadership: This pillar emphasizes personal growth, empowerment, and communication skills crucial for leading teams effectively.
  • Inclusivity: The retreat will dive deep into Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and training on unconscious bias and respectful leadership.

The academy offers corporate wellness programs to reduce mental health challenges, a critical concern in Thailand. According to the Asian Development Bank, 20% of the adult population in Thailand experiences a diagnosable mental health condition annually. Dragonfly’s retreat and academy address these issues by empowering leaders to lead well for their businesses and the communities they serve.

Leadership for a Harmonious Future

Speaking on the success of the summit and the upcoming retreat, Pranapda Phornprapha Chirathivat, founder of Dragonfly, said, “I want to extend a special thank you to our speakers, whose voices have inspired us to think, act, and heal in ways that will shape the future. Your insights have brought light to the path we are all walking together. To our sponsors and supporters—you make this work possible. Your belief in this vision and your generosity have been the driving force behind the summit’s success.”

Ms Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), graced the event and emphasized the summit’s potential to bolster Thailand’s status as a regional hub for wellness tourism. By hosting global events like Dragonfly H.E.A.L., Thailand is positioning itself as a destination supporting personal growth and societal progress.

An Ongoing Commitment to Positive Impact

Dragonfly’s mission to build a more inclusive, harmonious society is evident not just in the transformative experiences of its summit but in its forward-looking initiatives. The Bali leadership retreat and academy will offer a roadmap for leaders who aspire to bring meaningful change to their organizations and communities.

As the business world grapples with challenges like mental health, inequality, and workplace well-being, Dragonfly’s focus on leading from the heart, body, mind, and soul offers a compelling vision for the future. In a time when effective leadership requires more than just business acumen, Dragonfly is setting the stage for a new era of empathy-driven success.

With Bali set to host this retreat, the next chapter in Dragonfly’s journey promises to be just as transformative. It will foster the next generation of leaders equipped to build a better, more harmonious world.
