Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) data indicates that Australians are as keen as ever to lock in a well-deserved break despite cost-of-living pressures, with more than half of us intending to take a holiday within the next six months – and for many Aussies, a holiday means Queensland.
Whilst desire remains strong, TEQ has identified that 84% of Australians have indicated increasing cost of living will impact 2024 holiday choices in some way, and therefore great savings on accommodation is a strong drawcard to encourage travellers to book that getaway, now more than ever.
