Prudential Hong Kong Limited (“Prudential”) today announced the appointment of Edward Dai as the General Manager of its Macau Branch Office, succeeding Chris Ma upon his retirement. Edward also joins the Prudential Hong Kong Executive Committee, reporting to Hong Kong Chief Executive Officer Lawrence Lam.

In his new role, Edward oversees the overall operations of Macau branch, as well as expanding distribution channels, and developing a suite of tailored products for Macau customers. Building on the great foundation laid by the Macau team, he will continue to drive key initiatives and customer-centric strategies for the branch office, including the development of home-grown talent.

With more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Edward started his career at Prudential in 2013. Prior to his current role, he served in several senior positions in both Prudential’s Group office and Hong Kong office. In these roles, he was responsible for agency strategy development and agency management, including recruitment, training, retention, sales promotion and agency support. His leadership has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s distribution channels and accelerating the business growth of the Macau branch.
