The British Women’s Group (BWG) of Bangkok in partnership with the Combined Women’s Club of Thailand (CWL) will host a charity fundraising James Bond themed lunch at the Anantara Siam Hotel on Tuesday October 8, 2024 from 11am to 3pm.

More than just a delightful lunch, guests will also be contributing to making a real difference with all proceeds from the event to be donated to the Thailand Hilltribe Education Projects (THEP) and the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, supporting vital initiatives that help communities and improve lives.

Since 1969, the British Women’s Group in Bangkok has served as a welcoming and supportive community for women, whether newcomers or longtime residents. By joining the group women discover new friendships, build lasting connections and participate in engaging activities. Women of all ages and nationalities are warmly welcomed.

Over the years the BWG have actively supported Thai charities which help underprivileged and disadvantaged people in Thailand from the very start, including support for charities such as Thailand HillTribe Education Project, STEPS, Mercy House, Thanksgiving Home, the New Life Centre in Chiang Mai and Gift of Happiness, to name just a few and BWG also sponsors the schooling of underprivileged

children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to complete their education.

There will be over THB200,000 in prizes to be won at the James Bond themed event all generously donated by Anantara Siam,Avani +, Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, El Gaucho, Lush, L’Oréal, Kai, XII, Bourbon Street, Cocotte, Med Park, Get Fresh, Happy LYFE, Head 2 Toe, Johny’s Gems, Urban Pantry,Chowpatti, Benares, The Deck and Bangkok Soap Opera to name a few.

The event is open to everyone, and attendees do not need to be a member of the BWG or CWL women’s groups.

Tickets are THB2500 net per person (must be paid in advance) and include a welcome drink, a three-course lunch (including free flow soft drinks), raffle, afternoon entertainment by DJ Paul Jackson and other fun activities, BYO wine for free corkage and cash bar is also available. Seating arrangements are tables of 10 people. Individual tickets are available for those who want to mingle with new faces,while group bookings are perfect for a fun-filled outing with friends.
