Hyatt Regency Brisbane’s Executive Chef, Krisztian Herczing welcomes celebrated Winemaker, Caitlin Brown from Mountadam Vineyard for an exclusive four course dinner at Lennons Restaurant & Bar on Wednesday 17 July – 6.30 PM to 10 PM.
This small and deliberately intimate event, with tickets priced at only $149 per person will showcase exceptional wines aligned to a curated food menu paired at each course. Guests will enjoy an evening of culinary delight and vast educational insights, guided by Caitlin Brown, the Winemaker of Mountadam Vineyards, throughout the evening, Caitlin will share her invaluable knowledge and expertise on the creation of each wine, providing a deeper appreciation for the selection prepared for all.
Caitlin has been at the helm of Mountadam Vineyards in Barossa, South Australia since 2019 and was recently recognised as a Young Gun of Wine finalist at Top Winemakers Awards. As the daughter of owners David and Jenni Brown, Caitlin has been immersed in the vineyard since she was 13 years old, giving her an intimate knowledge of the terrain. Her experience extends beyond Mountadam to some of Australia’s most renowned wine regions, including Margaret River in Western Australia and Adelaide Hills in South Australia. Additionally, she has gained international experience in Baden, Germany, and France.
“Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life’s most civilized pleasures.” Says Caitlin.
Highlights from Chef Krisztian’ s menu include , Cured Kingfish, served with native quandong, finger lime, capers, and chervil, to enjoy with Eden Valley Riesling 2023. Another standout dish is the grain-fed, slow-roasted Beef Tenderloin, married up to Mountadam’s flagship Shiraz, the High Eden Patriarch Shiraz 2018. These are just a taste of the many amazing menu that will be showcased on the night.
