This week, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the Focus on Florida’s Future Budget, allocating $80 million to VISIT FLORIDA. This investment highlights the ongoing commitment of the Governor and the Florida Legislature to bolster the state’s tourism industry. This continued investment will ensure Florida remains a top destination for global visitors.
In 2023, Florida shattered previous records by welcoming 140.6 million visitors, with domestic visitation reaching an all-time high. The first quarter of 2024 showed continued momentum with 40.6 million visitors — a 1.2% year-over-year increase and the highest number ever received in a single quarter in the state’s history.
