Spain Dominates The Rankings For Europe’s Driest City Breaks
Taking the top spot as the driest city break in Europe during winter is Valencia, Spain. The city has the lowest amount of average monthly rainfall at 32.3 inches and the lowest amount of monthly rainy days at an average of just over three days.
Spanish destinations make up nine out of ten spaces on the rankings for the driest city break in Europe, with one exception of Valletta, Malta in 5th place. Tenerife has the highest average winter temperature at 16.2 degrees.

Swedish City, Kiruna Is Named Europe’s Wettest City Break
Kiruna, the most Northern city in Sweden, takes the top spot for the wettest city break in Europe. The city located in the province of Lapland took the top spot having the lowest average winter temperature of -12.27 degrees.
Ranking in 2nd place is Rovaniemi, Finland, the official hometown of Santa Claus with another Finnish location, Helsinki, landing in 4th place.
