Hôtel Martinez, the iconic art-deco jewel of La Croisette in Cannes and host of the annual jury dinner at the Cannes Film Festival, has unveiled its festive and new years’ experiences and packages to welcome in 2024 in true French Riviera style. The glamourous festivities begin on 24th December through to New Year’s Day.
Chef Fabrice Fernandes, Pastry Chef at Hôtel Martinez, alongside the esteemed chef Jean Imbert – recently announced as the new Executive Chef at Hôtel Martinez – have together expertly-crafted pastries for the festive season. These include the Bûche Signature, a detailed recreation of the Hôtel Martinez façade; a gourmet Galette des Rois with festive frangipane and Grand Marnier, candied chestnuts and candied clementines; and a ‘Signature Yule Log’ combining the flavours of citrus fruits, Piedmont hazelnut, and green cardamom.
On Christmas Day, guests can indulge in a brunch curated by Chef Jean Imbert; at €160 per person including a glass of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne, soft drinks and hot beverages, the menu includes scrambled egg & truffle, sea bass coulibiac & lemon butter and Christmas panettone. The experience will be accompanied by music from pianist David Marques.
The New Year’s Eve package, starting from €1290 per two guests, includes a luxurious stay for two, champagne in the room while guests get ready to celebrate, and an invitation the New Year’s Eve dinner at new Mediterranean restaurant Le Sud followed by the Lobby party to see in 2024 in style with entertainment by Little Star band. A recovery breakfast can be served in-room or at Le Sud the next morning. Alternatively, guests can book the New Year’s Brunch package featuring an overnight stay and dishes such as Fine de Claire n°3 oysters and scallops with leeks & saffron foam. Prices start from €770 for two guests.
