Rydges Extends Their Commitment to Local Communities by Partnering with Ausmusic Month

True to their ‘love local’ philosophy, Rydges is once again supporting the Australian music industry throughout Ausmusic Month (November) and partnering with Support Act’s annual fundraiser, Ausmusic T-Shirt Day.

For the second year in a row, Rydges will provide local and community artists with a platform to serenade new audiences, along with financial support to the campaign.

Every week throughout November, a local Aussie artist will perform at each of the 40 Rydges Hotels across Australia. Free to Rydges guests, the performances will feature a range of artists, from local singer-songwriters to former ‘Voice’ contestants.

“Rydges is about true-blue Aussie hospitality, and we are delighted to be supporting Ausmusic Month for the second year. Our staff will be wearing Ausmusic T-Shirts and we invite guests and locals alike to stop by your local Rydges for a drink, bite to eat and watch a live performance by a talented local artist. And don’t forget to get involved in Ausmusic T-Shirt Day!” said Troy Cuthbertson, Rydges General Manager Hotel Operations, EVT.

“We are thrilled to again have Rydges on-board as a partner for Ausmusic T-Shirt Day. The Rydges loves local philosophy is the perfect fit for us and a critical partner to help showcase local talent. Australian musicians not only need platforms to perform, but also financial support and we appreciate Rydges support of both,” said Support Act CEO, Clive Miller.
