nib Group (nib), one of Australia’s leading health and travel insurance providers, has appointed Amber Kelly as nib Travel’s new Head of Sales, for Australia and New Zealand.
Ms Kelly will be responsible for leading the partnership team, and forging quality strategic relationships and driving the business growth for travel insurance sales in the travel agency sector across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Dylan Wilkinson, General Manager, International Partnerships at nib, said Amber has an extensive background in the retail sales industry, particularly around building strong commercial relationships with key retail partners.
“nib is investing in initiatives that optimise the overall experience for our valued partners,” Mr Wilkinson said. “We are looking at our technology services and improved tools that will increase sales efficiency and expand our partner network.
“Amber’s experience, networks, and her strategic thinking capabilities will drive business growth and with that, earnings. She will be a great asset to our team.”
Ms Kelly spent eight years at Express Travel Group, where she was responsible for product sales, partnerships, and marketing for a range of high-profile agency and partner brands. During this time, she used her experience to pioneer commercial partnerships and champion an impressive strategic events program, driving revenue performance and ultimately growing the business.
