Hilton Sydney and AV partner, Encore continue to showcase and deliver unparalleled technology in events paired with the highest service levels.
The hotel’s newly installed LED wall demonstrates the partnership and illustrates its scope. The biggest LED wall in New South Wales (at 66 square metres) offers unprecedented event technical sophistication .
Encore’s most recent Event Industry Report revealed that the top two considerations when buyers choose a meeting venue are the meeting space layout and supporting technology and infrastructure.
As one of Australia’s premium event venues, Hilton Sydney boasts a variety of spaces providing a blank canvas for Encore’s various technology solutions. From The Grand Ballroom, with its capacity for up to 1100 guests in theatre style, high ceilings and plentiful rigging points, to the various spaces on Level 4, with 900 square metres of floor space and capacity from between 50 and 600 in banquet style, Encore has an elegant technological solution for all styles of meetings, events and conferences.
“Partnering with Encore has allowed Hilton Sydney to enhance guest experience with unique and immersive technologies that bolster our team to streamline logistics, increase efficiency and provide the highest level of service for the property’s MICE offering. This demonstration of innovation and forward-thinking cements Hilton Sydney as one of the city’s finest venues to host and cater for the widest variety of events and meetings,” said Hayden Hughes, general manager of Hilton Sydney.
“Working in close partnership with Hilton Sydney, is vital to our mutual success and that of our clients. Our in-house team at Hilton Sydney have a detailed knowledge of the event spaces and how they can be used to achieve and exceed any event brief. Our close working relationship means that we have a deeper understanding of our clients’ needs, focusing on enhancing live events and creating immersive experiences.” agreed Scott Nodsle, managing director of Encore Asia Pacific.
Encore’s global footprint and reach mean Hilton Sydney will have first access to new audio-visual products and services as they come to market. By incorporating advanced technologies into all MICE functions, Hilton Sydney and Encore can create engaging, efficient, and memorable experiences, demonstrating a combined commitment to innovation and excellence.
The newly installed 22m wide x 3m high LED Wall, which can be kept as one screen or partitioned, can transform presentations that elevate the potential of all events. Creative AV production concepts are beginning to embrace high-resolution video for keynotes, panel discussions, virtual speakers and interactive presentations. The challenge in bringing this technology to life can lie in finding a solution that’s easy to deploy anywhere.
Encore has also invested in several Direct View 135-inch screens. These screens are incredibly thin and mobile, with adjustable heights that negate a past concern about natural light casting shadows onto projection screens.
In addition to the LED Wall at Hilton Sydney, Encore has over 2000m2 ground support screens and flow rigging options, offering boundless flexibility with the event design. These are complemented by 90-degree LED panels for cubes, pillars and wrap-around columns.
Timecodes build a whole sensory experience for everyone in the room and those engaging remotely with an event. Developments to timecode in audio provide an opportunity to present new and creative staging options that immerse attendees – much like experiences at arena concerts.
Encore’s event specialists are pioneering this trend with new trim and adaptable LED bars, now panning, tilting and zoom abilities. They’re also phenomenally bright for show-stopping staging that can produce stunning visuals — an actual performance — for keynotes, demonstrations, or awards ceremonies.
On Thursday, 20 April, media, stakeholders, and buyers enjoyed a showcase of these creative technologies designed by Encore and hosted at Hilton Sydney. In the evening, technology, creativity and culinary experiences intertwined, illustrating holistic technical solutions to the ever-dynamic industry demands of MICE clients.
From renders to reality, this specifically curated event experience began with a motion GIFFY E-Vite that generated excitement and event engagement. Upon arrival, the event began with a sleek and shiny feature bar welcoming guests in front of a custom LCD backdrop.
Technology was then showcased through unique immersive experiences with guests walking through a tunnel of transforming LED columns followed by an impressive content-driven table-mapping projection that tied together event storyline visuals.
The showcase was emceed by Melissa Hoyer and included a performance by Sydney Violinist Melissa Voyias.
