This is especially encouraging for Macau, where the economy is now seeing a gradual recovery after the epidemic.”

Mr. Ho further delivered his thoughts on the importance of supporting Macau in becoming a model of quality development within the Greater Bay Area; bolstering the city’s unique international advantages and the telling of good Chinese stories; supporting the construction of the Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area; and supporting the cultivation of patriotic core values and love for Macau.

The Forum forms part of Melco’s Splendors of China learning program for promoting patriotism and the principle of ‘Loving the Country, Loving Macau’ through education on the culture, history, modernization and latest development of the Motherland to Melco colleagues and the wider community. Over 8,000 Melco colleagues have completed the ‘Splendors of China Passport Program’, with 98% of participants indicating that the program has made them more proud of China’s culture, and which has enabled them to become interested in developing further learning on Chinese history and culture.
