Last week, Sunway Resort Hotel at Sunway City Kuala Lumpur introduced the attitude and energy of New York City to a group of local and foreign guests with the opening of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, the award-winning restaurant brand that specialises in mouth-watering craft burgers and its world-famous CrazyShake® milkshakes.The exclusive event hosted by Black Tap Malaysia was attended by royal guests, from Tengku Zatashah and Dato’ Setia Aubry Rahim Mennesson to socialite darlings, Marion Caunter, Rebekah Yeoh, Thanuja and Anuja Ananthan, Sarah Lian, Roberto Guiati, Alexis SueAnn and celebrities and actors like Diana Daniella, Idris Khan, Mia Nasir, Anzalna Nasir and many more. Making the night come alive, there were also dynamic performances by SonaOne, an award-winning Malaysian singer-songwriter and actor together with DJ Blink, one of the pioneers of the local party music scene, spinning at the hottest event in town last night here at Black Tap.

The first-ever Black Tap venture into Malaysia, this edgy, urban concept restaurant offers a casual vibe reminiscent of a classic American luncheonette with a distinctly New York feel, complete with 80’s and 90’s hip-hop and pop music and art covered walls. The façade and interior features mural art by Kenji Chai, the famous Malaysian street artist whose iconic, era-defining designs have adorned the walls of cities across the country.
Within these stylish surroundings, diners are truly in for a treat with its award-winning burgers, the iconic CrazyShake® milkshakes and some of the best craft beers from around the globe. Malaysians and foreigners can also look forward to enjoying original menu items crafted exclusively for Sunway Resort Hotel, including the Percik Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Chilli Crisp Milkshake.
