A-ROSA is offering new pre- & post-programmes in France on selected departures in the 2023 summer season for an even more memorable travel experience. The extended stays in the French capital Paris and in Lyon are part of the enhanced Premium All-Inclusive fare, which from this season onwards will not only offer even more flexibility and individuality but will also put high focus on locality. In addition, back-to-back cruises, a pairing of voyages on the Seine and the Rhône, allow guests to immerse themselves even deeper in French culture and landscape.
The new packages allow for even more personalised A-ROSA city breaks. The pre- or post-programme in Paris includes two nights in a four-star hotel, as well as transfers to the ship or to the train station and airport. During the stay, guests can explore the city centre on a half-day excursion, which includes a one-hour boat tour along the most important sights. Another highlight is an extensive visit and guided tour of the Jardin des Plantes & Les Tuileries gardens.
The pre-programme in Lyon also includes two nights in a four-star hotel and transfers. In addition to a food tour with tastings and a sightseeing tour, the package includes an excursion to the renown vineyards of Beaujolais. Guests can look forward to a wine tasting and a lunch snack at the Domaine Paire winery, as well as a tour of the charming medieval town of Oingt.

Combination Cruises on the Seine and Rhône
The A-ROSA premium ships sail on the Seine from Paris to Caudebec-en-Caux and on 9-night cruises even as far as Le Havre. On the Rhône and Saône, it is from Lyon via Avignon to Arles and sometimes further to Port Saint Louis on the Mediterranean coast. These rivers embody the French way of life and offer a variety of sceneries as well as cultural highlights. For those guests who would like to maximise their holiday experience, Seine and Rhône cruises can be combined on a number of dates. Guests may begin their A-ROSA journey on the Seine in Paris and then switch to the Rhône in Lyon. Alternatively, the reverse order is also possible. This means, for example, that two one-week trips can be combined with a two-night stopover in a hotel in Paris or Lyon to create a 16-night holiday. Pairings of a 5-night cruise and a 7-night cruise are also possible. If eligible France cruises are booked together, a combination discount of ten percent is applicable.
