Accommodation ranges from two to seven nights and includes comfortable lodging at Mlilwane’s Rest Camp or KaMsholo’s Tinsele Camp – both with en-suite bathrooms, electricity, and ample wildlife to observe. The seven-night trail, in particular, is fully accommodated and can also include two nights in EmaSomini Fly Camp in the northern reaches of Mlilwane.

Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, Eswatini’s oldest conservation area, has a fascinating 60-year history and offers visitors the freedom to explore on foot, bike, or horseback. All horse riding is guided, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris, the newest addition to Big Game Parks, is a pristine lowveld reserve tucked under the impressive Lubombo Mountains, just a two-hour drive across Eswatini.
The diversity and flexibility of these holidays are the highlights, featuring stunning plains rides, climbing the infamous Nyonyane Mountain, small river crossings, spectacular views of the Malkerns, Ezulwini, and Mantenga Valleys, and the impressive bushveld with giraffes against the Lubombo backdrop. Ranch-style riding with the beautiful indigenous Nguni cattle at KaMsholo is also a unique experience. Guests can opt for different activities or enjoy a swim or some R&R and quiet time as they prefer.

The Chubeka Trails horses
Chubeka Trails’ horses are carefully selected and bred for comfort and trained for easy, happy riding, providing the freedom to survey the countryside from the saddle. Home-bred Warmblood-Arab-Boerperd crosses, Percheron, Clydesdale, Friesian, Appaloosa, Lusitano, and thoroughbred crosses are among the breeds represented. The horses range in size from 15hh to 15.3hh, with the smaller horses being more agile in the mountains.
