Lovers of craft beer, cider and spirits can take advantage of a special accommodation festival package for the annual Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival on Saturday 18 March.
The popular festival is in 16th year and is adding distilleries for the first time to its collection of over 45 local and interstate exhibitors presenting up to 250 craft beers, ciders and spirits for tasting.
The Festival will be staged from 11 am to 6pm in the grounds of the heritage Mercure Canberra in Braddon.
To make it a complete weekend for interstate visitors, Mercure Canberra is offering a special Time to Celebrate package with festival tickets, a craft beer gift pack, overnight accommodation and breakfast from just $292 per night/per room. Full details below.
Canberra’s rapidly emerging brewing scene will be reflected in the presence of Bentspoke Brewing Co, Capital Brewing Co, Cypher Brewing, Ale Mary and others, while interstate exhibitors include many of Australia’s most renowned breweries such as Sydney Brewery, Better Beer, Stone Dog Meadery, Mountain Goat Beer, Lord Nelson Brewery and 4 Pines Brewing. Specialist cideries and distilleries such as Cedar Creek Cider, Billson’s, Ambrosia Distiller, and Mr Black will exhibit their range of ciders, vodkas, gins and whiskeys.
Complementing the beverage tastings will be an extensive range of popular food providores operating on the day, offering BBQ dishes, pizza, nachos, burgers, fish & chips.
Festival goers can enjoy great live entertainment from local popular local bands Archie and Rubix Dudes, while a local DJ will keep the cool vibes spinning throughout the day.

1st Release tickets General Admission tickets go on sale from Tuesday 14 February for $33 (plus booking fee), with on-the-day tickets available for $45 (plus booking fee). Children have free entry to the event when accompanying parents.
General Admission tickets include entry into the festival, five drink tokens to taste 45+ of the best local and interstate craft breweries and distilleries, gourmet food vendors, live music, and other festival entertainment.
