The internationally renowned Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is thrilled to announce its restaurant, Atelier by Sofitel, has been awarded two AGFG Chef Hats for 2023 by The Australian Good Food Guide. Under the direction of Executive Chef, Sam Moore, who joined Atelier by Sofitel in July 2022, the restaurant has gone from strength to strength, receiving exceptional reviews for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and its modern take on French cuisine.

Commenting on the win, Executive Chef Sam Moore, said, “We are thrilled to be acknowledged by The Australian Good Food Guide for our modern-twist on classic French cuisine, and to be recognised alongside the likes of Mr Wong, Seta and Nel Restaurant, is a real honour and testament to the hard work of our team.

“Atelier stands for “an artist’s workshop or studio” and is a place where creativity is King, inspiration flows, ideas are born and fresh ingredients are transformed, and it has been a joy working with such a dedicated and creative team and we look forward to another great year and pushing the culinary boundaries”.

As part of its recently launched Summer 2022 menu, presented by Executive Chef Sam Moore, guests can indulge in entrees featuring sustainably sourced seafood like raw kingfish with green olive bavarois, avocado and cucumber, grilled Yamba prawns with espelette pepper, saffron and garlic or a tomato tarte fine with chévre, shallot and basil.

Next on the agenda are masterpiece mains to delight in like Cowra pork belly with peas, smoked speck and apple puree, or dry aged duck breast with ravenhall blackberry, rainbow chard and citrus jus. And why not round out your experience with something sweet like the pistachio berry berry, featuring pistachio rocks, raspberry and elderflower or, a mango parfait with coconut cream, passionfruit coulis and mango paper.

Atelier by Sofitel is open 7 days a week for dinner service, commencing at 5:30pm.
