Tucked away in one of Australia’s most beautiful villages, ‘Burrawang House’ is a new luxurious holiday home to relax in with 14 of your loved ones.

The architecturally designed weather-board home is ideal for gathering friends and family with five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, three wood fireplaces and a stunning pool and spa overlooking the countryside and towering 100-year-old trees.

Located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, a one hour and 45min drive from Sydney, it is a set over one-acre and is bathed in North facing sun with plenty of spaces to eat, drink and play. This is country life at its best and you’d be forgiven if you never leave. If you do, the renowned Burrawang Village Hotel pub and Burrawang Village General Store Café are a short stroll away.

A huge entertaining kitchen features a three-metre kitchen island, double Bertazzoni oven and cantilevered window which opens to the outside living room with a recycled brick wood fireplace. Stay cool in Summer with a nine-metre pool, eight-person spa, ducted air-conditioning throughout, and relax under umbrellas which shade six sun loungers on the sprawling pool deck.

Inside, the large open plan living space features a towering cathedral roof design, oak floorboards, an oak dining table seating 12, and light streaming in through windows on all sides. Warm up by the 18th Century Belgian mantle fireplace and sink into the huge L-shaped Jardan sofa.

Burrawang is a tiny village with a big heart and building this home has been a long-held dream for its owners, who have holidayed here for 20 years.

“The beauty of Burrawang House is that it was built in 2022, but it brings in so many elements which make it feel like it’s been here forever, people feel instantly at home.” said Gabrielle Brewer, co-owner of Burrawang House.

“There are pergolas with recycled wood recovered from the Sydney Fish Markets, beautiful art collected over decades, antique furniture, bespoke joinery, lighting from the Montauk Company, Kate Spade, Paul Smith and Louis Poulsen and beautiful Armadillo rugs.” added Gabrielle.

Established in 1865 Burrawang is a picture-perfect postcard village where you can enjoy a true rural escape. This is where cows graze (across the road!), the air is sweet, nights are star-filled, and amazing birdsong fills the silence.

Burrawang House oozes fun with a games room, snooker and pool table, dartboard, and outside ping pong table. There are many surprises including a blue Neon cow, the funkiest bunk room joinery – to delight big kids and small – and integrated Sonos sound throughout. Little extras include a quality Rocket espresso machine with fresh coffee beans, a Nespresso machine (for the less confident) and local wine and goodies on arrival.

The five bedrooms include four king-sized bedrooms and a bunkroom with six king single beds, sleeping up to 14 people, all with beautiful linen.

Walk, cycle, picnic or kayak in National Parks and State Forests right on your doorstep including Fitzroy Falls just 10mins away. A renowned cool-climate wine region there are 15 cellar doors in the area, antique shops, pristine golf courses, open gardens, art galleries and excellent cafes and restaurants.

Priced at $5,790 for two nights, for up to 14 people. Burrawang House is as close to having your own luxury hotel for the weekend, but you can enjoy all the privacy and space you deserve.
