With many travel advisors remaining home-based, becoming independent or struggling for time, and suppliers dealing with reduced sales teams and brochures, a hybrid platform that allows travel advisors to do a single search for a destination and get results from two directories makes sense. Travel advisors can tap into suppliers who have itineraries with live availability and pricing via an API, but also connect with suppliers who work with advisors to provide great products, but don’t have the capacity to upgrade or create new technology. 
Tour Atlas Co-founder, Alex Obleshchuk shared what spurred them to create the platform, saying, “We spent the last 18 months listening to travel advisors and suppliers about the challenges they face in the new travel landscape. It was clear we could use our innovative technology to create a solution, and we believe the hybrid platform is it.”
This latest addition expands on the existing offering Tour Atlas provides for a sustainable long-term solution to digital distribution and printed brochures.
Alex went on to say, “Everything that has made Tour Atlas great is still there, travel advisors still connect with the supplier to book direct and keep 100% of their commission. But now, there is even more value for them while doing so.”
