The magical Northern Lights and two of the world’s most spectacular countries – Norway and Iceland – are the stars of a stunning, new, double-cruise winter package in March, 2023, curated exclusively for Australians by Australian small ship specialist, Cruise Traveller, with extensive savings for couples and solos for bookings made by November 30, 2022.

Cruise Traveller’s special 20-night fly, stay and cruise package is being offered in conjunction with boutique British cruise line, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, whose smaller and more intimate ships showcase traditional seafaring heritage and the calming pleasures of classic cruising. Cruise Traveller is the exclusive Australian representative for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.

The ‘Northern Lights and Iceland Sights’ package begins on March 16, 2023, with an included flight from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth to Newcastle in northern England, with a night’s stay also included. Guests then board Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ stylish, 1338-guest flagship, Bolette, for a combined 19-night voyage encompassing a return cruise to Norway followed by another to Iceland.

Able to access smaller ports bigger ships cannot reach, Bolette will take adventure-seeking guests to the winter wonderland of Norway with its romantic, snow-iced villages, rugged peaks, iced waterfalls, wild rivers, exotic wildlife and brooding pine forests. The towns of Trondheim, Bodo, Tromso and Alta are featured with a chance to meet the local Sami people and see the breathtaking Northern Lights dance in the dark skies above the Arctic wilderness.

Returning to Newcastle, Cruise Traveller guests will stay onboard for another cruise, this time to Iceland where Bolette will visit Reykjavik and other small towns in a circumnavigation of the pristine country with its mighty volcanoes, waterfalls and hot pools. Denmark’s beautiful Faroe Islands with its storybook hamlets tucked into the rugged folds of mountains also feature on the itinerary. On return to Newcastle, guests fly home to Australia.
